Slash Gearing Up For His Next Studio Album, Former Guns N' Roses Guitarist Will Write Music Score for In-House Horror Movie

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has kept his creative juices flowing even while he is on a tour. He has informed his fans that there will be a follow-up album for his 2012's "Apocalyptic Love." The guitarist is touring with Myles Kennedy. Kennedy will be returning back to his band, Alter Bridge.

Slash's recent tweets revealed that "Coming up with a lot of cool s**t for new songs and a ton of cool ideas recorded from the tour. Going to start putting them together." He later tweeted clearing up any doubts or confusion in the minds of Alter Bridge fans when he said, "AB fans have no cause for worry. They will soon release a new CD and tour this year. I will catch Myles on the flip side."

Slash's last album "Apocalyptic Love" received positive reviews and won over fans. It had vocals from Kennedy, Todd Kerns played bass and Brent Fitz did the drums.

Apart from his album, Slash has also come up with the "Angry Birds Space" theme song. The game has an animated Slash character - 'Slashbird.' It was also reported by Loudwire about Slash confirming his participation in "Band Fuse: Rock Legends" video game. He already is a playable character in the video game "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock."

It is interesting to note that Slash will be working on the musical score for a new horror movie that is being produced by his company, Slash Films production company and the name of the movie is "Nothing To Fear."
