Jay Mohr New Album ‘Happy. And A Lot’ Nominated for Grammy Award

Fresh off the release of his newest album, Happy. And A Lot, comedian Jay Mohr is celebrating the fact that he's been nominated for a Grammy Award.

The comedian's new album was completely written by his wife, Nikki Cox – a woman the Jerry Maguire star claims is "the most brilliant creative writer" that he's ever met in his life. Mohr recently spoke with MStars News about the album and what it was like having his wife write all of the material.

Per a press release, the former Saturday Night Live star is rather excited for his nomination, as he's claimed via Twitter have to found the "perfect writer" in his wife.

He went on to express his excitement:

The comedian even offered up some advice for young comics:
