Paramore's Hayley Williams & MAC Cosmetics Team Up; Launch New Orange Makeup Line to Match Hair & Soul

Paramore's lead vocalist, Hayley Williams, teams up with MAC Cosmetics to launch a rockin' new orange-tint makeup line that will match her bold orange hair as well as her "soul."

The "Misery Business" singer ventures into the cosmetic business, she tells People, with her signature MAC collection including orange blush/bronzer, nail polish, eyeshadow and lipstick that will be available exclusinvely online April 9th. Here's a preview of the line inspired by Hayley's signature style:

On March 8th, the singer announced her new collaboration with MAC and tweeted:
"Been tough to keep my lips zipped... but I can finally show you what I've been working on with @MACcosmetics!!!"

Why so orange?

"Orange was it for me from picking up the eyeshadow when I was 17," she tells People. "It's not a natural color, but when I wear it, people say 'It looks normal on you!' I feel like it was born with it. It matches my soul."

She continues on about the orange MAC eyeshadow by saying, "that was the beginning of the end. It's been key in making me feel like I have an onstage personality."

Prior to discovering the cosmetic line, Williams explains that she didn't wear makeup at all. "Photographers would beg me to wear chapstick and I'd say no," she said.

MAC's orange shade became the singer's "Only Exception" to her no-makeup rule, and she is extremely excited for the new collaboration with her favorite makeup creators. She tweeted:

"thank you again to everyone for all the kind words and excited messages I've gotten about the MAC collab. This is too fun"

According to altpress.com, Williams says she loves to have fun with her makeup and is inspired by her fans; she especially loves seeing them wear looks she's sported in the past. "The best thing about makeup is that it's complete self expression, it's art on your face," she tells PEOPLE. "Makeup can be really empowering, and I'm excited to be part of the MAC family ... and for fans to get ahold of it."
