Chipotle’s E. Coli, Food Poisoning Problem: A Millennial’s Reaction Told Through GIFs

Millennials everywhere are freaking out over Chipotle's most recent E. coli outbreak, and a new report shows that another possible food poisoning incident has hit a franchise in Boston, with at least 120 people coming down with something due to the food ordered at the Mexican chain.

The Washington Post reports that despite the news, each chain that has encountered the poisoning has managed to bounce back. However, customers have now thrown stricter demands towards management to ensure that their food be better prepared and, most importantly, safe for consuming. To that, Chipotle's CEO Steve Ells said on Thursday that the chain will undoubtedly become the "safest place to eat."

With this in mind, MStars News had some thoughts that we felt could easily be summarized in GIFs. Because, why not?

Let's be real, the fact that E. coli, and some other amalgam of grossness, appears to be spreading throughout the chain that quickly became easily the most delicious fast food establishment since *insert your favorite chain here* is terrifying. None of us want to be sick.

Having said that, when Chipotle is just around the corner from our office, are going to not go? Seriously.

"No!!"

How could you do this to us, Chipotle? We mean, really! Our generation managed to put aside the truth – that you are just another easily replaceable fast food chain – and convince ourselves that what we were ingesting was rather a delectable meal that just happens to come out quickly.

Now, well, our world has officially fallen...because of you.

You're in our routine, Chipotle, so yes, we'll still eat at your establishment (and pray we don't get E. coli), but we will NOT be happy about it.
