Designer Alexander Wang has definitely made his mark in the fashion world. After dominating fashion with the creative director role at Balenciaga, Wang has a new focus - making his mark on the jewelry scene.
According to WWD, Wang has long shared his passion for jewelry and now he has been blessed with the opportunity to make it happen.
The 31-year-old designer has always had his hands in several different endeavors but luckily for us fashionistas, Wang has switched gears to jewelry. While the designer has previously dabbled in the jewelry sector working on collaborations with Gaia Repossi and Betony Vernon labels, as well as designing on some Balenciaga collections, this is the first line the designer can call his own. And we're here for it!
The designer shared with WWD that he always wanted to do a jewelry line he just never felt that he had the opportunity with so much going on. By working with Balenciaga, the designer was able to get some exposure to the jewelry designing process and he fell in love with it.
