One thing is certain. Justin Bieber definitely isn't playing his upcoming show in Lisbon, Portugal March 12.Sources can't seem to agree on why, however.
TMZ broke the news that Bieber was canceling a show at Lisbon's Pavilhao Atlantico. The venue website said ""Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second performance in Portugal, March 12."
The statement added that ""The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11. Holders of tickets valid for March 12 should contact the respective place of purchase to receive a refund within 30 days of the date of the scheduled concert, which ends April 11."
After Bieber's on-stage collapse in London last week, the reason for the cancellation would seem obvious. Until you consider that the second show is the one being cancelled.
TMZ thought that they had gotten to the bottom of it when they reported that unnamed sources close to the singer claimed that Bieber cancelled the Lisbon performance due to "soft" ticket sales.
The source went on to say that it was "business decision" and that seemed to be that.
Until E! News interviewed Justin's agent Scooter Braun, that is. Braun wanted to make absolutely certain that people knew the cancellation had nothing to do with health issues.
"There's nothing wrong with him," Braun said. "He's in a great place." Braun continued on to say that it wasn't ticket sales that killed the concert, but technical issues that arise when moving the performances from one location to the next.
Seems like we're not going to get a clear answer anytime soon.
What do you think? Was the cancellation related to health issues? Bieber's supposed meltdown? Ticket sales? How about technical issues?
