On Monday evening's highly-anticipated "The Bachelor" season 17 finale (March 11), handsome fitness model/insurance agent Sean Lowe ultimately got down on one knee and proposed to adorable fan-favorite, Catherine Giudici. But Lowe's reality stardom doesn't end there - he's decided to trade in his final rose for a pair of dancing shoes alongside professional Australian dancer, Peta Murgatroyd. That's right - the former "Bachelorette" reject has been named the final contestant on ABC's hit series "Dancing with the Stars!"
The big "Bachelor goes 'DWTS'" announcement was made on Tuesday morning's episode of "Good Morning America." Lowe joins fellow season 16 contestants and competitors:
Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani
D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke
Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff
Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko
Andy Dick and Charna Brugess
Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold
Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy
Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas
Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson
Dorothy Hamill and Tristan McManus
Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough
On Monday, Lowe proposed to the "love of his life" Catherine Giudici during "The Bachelor" final rose ceremony (where he sadly said goodbye to runner-up, Lindsay Yenter). Rumors have it that wedding plans are moving fast - the couple hopes to tie the knot on national television! But before that, Lowe will shake his thing out on the dance floor in hopes of becoming "DWTS" season 16 champ. Do fans think he has a chance?
