Jon Stewart is visiting another late night show - is there a trend going on? The 53-year-old former The Daily Show host appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday (December 10) and even crashed during Colbert's opening monologue, as reported by Realty Today.
But it seems as though Stephen Colbert won't let Stewart get away with what he did, prompting the former to take out a Donald Trump wig for Stewart to wear.
Not only that, but Colbert even "smear[ed] Cheeto dust all over Stewart's face!"
"No one is going to listen to you unless you... I don't know how to put this - 'Trump' it up a little bit. The media won't pay attention to anything at all unless you're Donald Trump," Stephen Colbert told Jon Stewart.
"If I'm elected - and I will be elected - I will build a wall around politics and I will make politics pay for it," Jon said (via NME), mimicking the Republican presidential candidate.
It was just last week when Jon Stewart made his first return to his former talk show, The Daily Show, as a guest. Stewart went onto the show to raise awareness and support for his cause, the Zadroga Act.
The bill aims to provide compensation and medical funds to the first responders of the 9/11 tragedy. Mashable claims that the Zadroga Act will soon run out of funding until it is reauthorized.
Furthermore, Food World News reports that although the Zadroga had already expired, Jon Stewart and some activist groups are attempting have the bill renewed and to secure funds, all before the Congress goes out of session.
Jon Stewart has been supporting the Zadroga Act since 2010. The law was signed back in early 2011 by President Barack Obama.
Jon Stewart net worth is $80 million.
