Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is in trouble yet again after she decided to go to trial for the assault and battery case of her baby daddy Nathan Griffith's girlfriend Jessica Henry. This is surprising since the MTV star may go to prison if convicted of the terrifying crime.
According to Radar Online, the administrator of court said, "The case will automatically come to jury court. A notice will be sent to [Jenelle and her attorney] in the mail notifying them of the date of the trial. It will be sometime next year."

The gossip site even noted that in the police report of the incident the arresting officer didn't believe Jenelle's side of the story so it will be hard for her to win the case.
"[Jenelle] stated that she walked outside and the victim got out of the truck. The arrestee claimed that she was in fear, so she threw water at the victim and the jar slipped from her hand. The arrestee stated that the victim caught the jar and threw it back at the arrestee, striking her back and then broke," the cop wrote. "This would have made the broken glass somewhere farther in the driveway... I looked and did not observe any redness or any other injury to the arrestee's back."
Nathan's 911 call can be heard here:
As MStars News reported, at the time of the incident, the North Carolina mom's representative Johnny Donovan spoke out in defense of his client and put all of the blame on Nathan.
"Nathan provoked her," he told The Ashley Reality Roundup. "That's what he does, he tries to make her look bad and he succeeded today. That's pretty much it."
Luckily for Jenelle, she has moved on from her tumultuous relationship with Nathan and is now dating welder David Eason.
Do you think the Teen Mom 2 rabble-rouser should go to trial in the assault case?
