The Carolina Hurricanes vs. the Washington Capitals battle it out on the ice at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Tuesday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Hurricanes head into Tuesday evening's game as the no 1 team in the NHL Eastern Southeast Conference with a 14-9-1 record. Carolina ranks no 9 overall out of 30 teams. According to CBS Sports columnist Brian Stubits, "The Hurricanes have somewhat quietly won 5 of 6 but the goaltending is worrisome. In the three games without injured Cam Ward, they've given up 10 goals."
The Capitals snag the no 3 spot in the Eastern Southeast Conference, with a 10-13-1 record. The team ranks no 25 overall. As Stubits points out, " It kind of feels like the Caps have gained ground but they're just 5-5 in last 10. This week is really make-or-break with home-and-home vs. Carolina."
The game will be broadcasted live on FS-CR and CSN-DC, but fans can also listen in on the radio at ESPN 980, 1500 AM, 99.9 The Fan, and CBS Sports.
