"Spring Breakers" Soundtrack Released: Features Beats from Skrillex, Gucci Mane, Ellie Goulding, Waka Flocka Flame & More; See Complete [LIST]

The highly anticipated upcoming "Spring Breakers" movie features not only a talented cast (starring James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Benson), but also a hot soundtrack to go along with the risque film. The "Spring Breakers" soundtrack, released March 12 on iTunes, brings the newest beats from skilled young talents including Skrillex, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Ellie Goulding and many more.

DJ/Producer Skrillex and Cliff Martinez, the acclaimed composer behind the scores of Drive, Contagion, and Traffic, teamed up to originally score the film together.

"The Grammy-winning electronic music specialist  brings his ear and oversight to Hollywood for the "Spring Breakers" movie soundtrack, enlisting some top-notch talent to deliver everything from dubstep to beat-heavy bass rap," states the Associated Press.

In addition to several of his own tracks like "Scary Monsters & Nice Spirits," "Smell this Money," and "Park Smoke," the Skrillex-composed album also features Atlanta-based rappers Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame.

A special highlight of the soundtrack is a rap collaboration between actor James Franco and local Florida rapper Dangeruss. Franco told GQ in May that Dangeruss was the biggest influence for his character in the film.

Skrillex also uses Ellie Goulding's breathy dance track, "Lights," as the finale on the soundtrack. AP notes, "It's not the disc's song with the most pulse, but it brings things to a calming close."

A digital copy, released via Big Beat/Atlantic Records, is available today on iTunes. Physical copies will be available in stores next week (March 19).
