'Manhattan' S02E10 'Jupiter' Rachel Brosnahan, Ashley Zukerman's WGN America Finale Recap!

WGN America airs the Season 2 finale of Manhattan. In Episode 10, will Abby Isaacs (Rachel Brosnahan) and Charlie Isaacs (Ashley Zukerman) ready to deal with the manhunt for Frank Winter (John Benjamin Hickey) in Jupiter?

As Paul Crosley (Harry Lloyd) reveals to Frank that there's a traitor in the midst, Jim Meeks (Christopher Denham) is heading towards the blast site, along with the spy. Before the rain starts pouring down, Jim commits murder and kills the spy. 

With Col. Emmett Darrow (William Petersen) and his military soldiers searching for Frank, Louis 'Fritz' Fedowitz (Michael Chernus) shows up at the base. Though still in mourning, Fritz knows his wife would want him to be at the base with his team. Charlie attempts one last time to make a call for his child. 

As the rain pours down, Charlie makes a stand against Darrow. Charlie has already sent in the evidence that proves Darrow committed treason and lied to his superiors. Even if the atom bomb explodes as planned, Charlie's professional career is over and done with. Frank finally makes his way to the atom bomb and finds himself in a standoff with Meeks. 

Liza Winter (Olivia Williams) hears the radio station and notices the song playing in the background. She then makes a call to the bomb site and makes contact with Frank. Though he is being held hostage, Frank tries to make the best of it with his wife and leaves a farewell message for Liza before he cuts off their phone conversation. 

Frank tries to convince Meeks that he can get a second chance. Meeks doesn't believe so because of Fritz's dead wife. He also doesn't believe Frank after he messed with the wiring. Knowing the future is inevitable, Frank reveals there is another atom bomb heading towards Japan. 

Knowing her husband is in trouble, Liza asks Fritz to save him. While everyone else is leaving the site, Fritz shows up when Meeks has his gun aimed at Frank. As Frank takes the blame for Meeks, the three end up fixing the wiring, making sure the bomb explodes. 

Liza is able to rest easy when she hears Fritz's voice on the radio. Helen Prins (Katja Herbers) knows she will take over for Charlie, who has run his course. Rachel now has the baby back in her arms as she heads towards California. Everyone is putting their goggles on as detonation is about to happen. 

After Meeks reveals he's responsible for his wife's death, Fritz is both heartbroken and angry. Frank is helpless as he watches Fritz point the gun at Meeks. All of sudden, everyone is in shock and awe when the atom bomb explodes. 

Taking one last look at his best friend, Fritz then points at the gun at himself. and pulls the trigger, committing suicide.
