Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert Welcome Daughter: Baby Tayla Born in a Bathroom?

Not long after we reported that Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert were possibly in labor did the new parents confirm the wonderful news. That's right, Taylor and her fiance welcomed their daughter, Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr, just one month before her expected time of arrival, and she was born in a bathroom!

In a Instagram post, Taylor confirmed that her daughter made her debut on Wednesday, Dec. 16 around 7 a.m. "On Dec 16th at 6:42am in our bathroom Junie decided she wanted to take her first breath into this world," the new mom wrote.

Taylor revealed that she only pushed two times and her daughter was born. "She came out as a wonderful surprise to everyone! Not knowing I was in labor until I felt her head...it took two ten count pushes with my fiancé playing Dr and she entered this world into his bare hands! Eyes full of tears and barely able to speak to the emergency operator @imanshumpert tied a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord and the ambulance made there grand entrance 5 min later."

Taylor claimed that her daughter and her had a bond from the beginning when she opened her eyes looking into her mothers. "She opened her eyes right away, gazed into mine and never cried! He handed her to me wrapped in our bath towel and wiped her face for me to see what LOVE really is."

It looks like Christmas came early for this family! "She has blown Christmas away! Our family is complete. Her blueprint will be unmatched. Welcome Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. Mommy carried you. Daddy delivered you. We love you baby girl."

MStars News previously reported that a witness claimed Taylor was in labor in the same hospital where they were. Now we know the witness' claims were all true, but it appeared that Taylor had already given birth when she arrived to check-in. That's probably why she was rushed back faster then other waiting patients.

Baby Shumpert was due on January 16, but looks like she got her due date mixed up because she clearly is already here! Congrats we can't wait to see more photos of the newborn.

Baby Shumpert wasn't the only baby born early this year! We all remember that Ice-T and Coco Austin welcomed their daughter, Chanel Nicole, a few weeks earlier than her December due date.
