Reports confirm that "Moonshiners" reality star Tickle was recently charged with public intoxication after police found him blackout-drunk in the middle of a convenience store parking lot, consuming liquor from an open container. The Discovery Channel "outlaw" was so belligerent, cops had to carry his limp body to the patrol car all the way to the jail. The infamous moonshiner was arrested after he couldn't find a buddy to help take him home, but was released from police custody later that day.

Apparently cops were tipped off about the situation by a concerned individual who witnessed Tickle enjoying a drink (well, several drinks) in the Charley’s Stop and Shop parking lot in Danville, VA on Thursday (March 7). Once officers arrived at the scene, 35-year-old Tickle was declared too drunk to function and promptly arrested.

“He was also drinking from an open container. The officer approached him and detected a strong odor of alcohol as well as normal indications of being intoxicated,” explained a police spokesperson. When responding officers approached Tickle, the "Moonshiners" goofball allegedly reeked of alcohol. Since there was no way for Tickle to get home (productively), police decided to place him in custody.

Discovery Channel and Tickle have yet to comment about the drunken incident.

According to a description of the hit reality series:

Moonshiners is an American docu-drama television series on the Discovery Channel that dramatizes the life of people who produce (illegal) moonshine in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. The series dramatizes their liquor production efforts, law-evading techniques, and life.

How fitting, right?

Tickle's bio on the Discovery Channel website describes him as a “a hard working still hand who loves moonshine."
