Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is set to release her own dietary cookbook entitled "It's All Good: Delicious, Easy, Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great" in April. The recipes in this cookbook are part of the elimination diet that Paltrow has championed for quite some time now. Unfortunately for the Oscar winner, nutritionists and the media are attacking the book, as they do most of her ventures. This is Paltrow's second cookbook after her first, "My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness."
To promote this book, a slogan has been released: "After changing her diet, Paltrow healed totally, felt more energetic and looked great." The healing that this refers to is Paltrow's anemia diagnosis, which lead to her doctor prescribing this elimination diet. She apparently did so well that she wanted to share her story with whoever would listen. Her new book includes 185 "restorative dishes, offering dishes that are sugar-free, vegetarian, non-alcoholic and wheat-free, to correspond with the unique elimination diet plan."
But the media doesn't take too kindly to Paltrow's projects. Her media company "Goop" has often been ridiculed for its unreliable content and it looks like the same is happening with her recipe books. What do you think? Is this cookbook going to be well received or will it just be the butt of jokes? Should the media give Paltrow a break or is the negativity warranted?
