The original "Kick-Ass" movie came out in 2010 and immediately became a cult classic. Despite not having the superhero fame that other comic book themed movies had like "Iron Man," "Batman," and "Spider-Man" the movie did well at the box office. Now it's time for "Kick-Ass 2," which comes out in theaters August 16. The red band trailer has now been released. Be warned, the sequel seem as foul-mouthed as the original.

The original movie centered around Dave Lizewski who was was high-school student and huge comic book fan that decided to become a superhero. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is back playing Dave along with his fellow superhero friends including Chloë Grace Moretz as "Hit-Girl."

The plot of "Kick-Ass 2" courtesy of IMDB reads, "The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows."

In the second movie more heroes come forward after they become inspired by "Kick-Ass" and "Hit-Girl." Oh, and you may notice Jim Carrey is in the sequel. It looks like he will be playing a major part in the movie, even though I must admit I didn't immediately recognize him. Carrey plays Colonel Stars and Stripes and joins the kid superheroes in their fight against evil.

Another pleasant surprise is Christopher Mintz-Plasse aka "McLovin" from "Superbad" reprising his role as Red Mist from the first film. Although, by the looks of the trailer, Red Mist becomes even more evil during the process of avenging his father's death. He now calls himself "Mother F---er."

The red band trailer is below, but be warned there is bad language and it's suitable for mature audiences only. The trailer is very cool. It has action, kids kicking butt, and kids cursing. This is all stuff the movie studio figured out people must want to see after the success of the first film.
