The Senators head into Wednesday night's game as the no 3 team in the NHL Eastern Northeast Conference. Ottawa snags the overall no 13 spot in the division, with a 13-8-5 record. According to ESPN sports columnist Pierre LeBrun, "We're running out of superlatives to explain how Paul MacLean, Daniel Alfredsson, Chris Phillips and the gang of kids are pulling this off without their top talent. AMAZING." 

The Canadiens snag the no 1 spot in the NHL Eastern Northeast Conference, and the no 4 overall spot with a 14-5-4 record (out of 30 teams). As LeBrun points out, "Tough loss with Brandon Prust going down 10 to 14 days with a shoulder injury. He has been a real spark plug. The Eastern Conference-leading Habs, though, just keep on winning, completing an impressive 4-1 trip with a weekend sweep of the Florida teams."

The game will be broadcasted live on local channels RDS and TSN, but fans can also listen in on the radio at Team 1200, Lake 88.1,  TSN Radio, and 98,5 FM.
