'Scream Queens' Star Emma Roberts Might Quit Acting Soon

Fans of Emma Roberts may want to be sure to catch all of her upcoming projects, because the Scream Queens star is considering quitting acting sometime soon. For her January 2016 cover of Allure, the actress (and niece of Julia Roberts) told the magazine that in the near future she "might not want to be in front of the camera."

To elaborate, she said, "I think as I get older, there might come a time when I don't want to be in front of the camera anymore and want to be more behind the scenes: I would love to produce and maybe write."

The actress went on to say that she's thought about changing things up a lot more recently, telling the magazine, "I thought of it a lot during Scream Queens when every morning there's full hair and makeup and heels and minidresses." She continued, "And I thought, you know, I kind of want to show up to work one day and not care what I look like. It would be nice to just slip away for a little bit."

This carefree attitude, and a hatred of online bullying, were the main factors that contributed to her decision to pose for an un-retouched campaign for Aerie.

Of the decision, she said, "You can put yourself out there and not Photoshop yourself or Facetune yourself," she says. She also said she wanted her sister, who was being bullied on her Instagram, to know that it's okay to 'look bad in a picture' and to ignore what others say about it.

The actress also wanted to make a point about herself. She said to Allure, "I also wanted to show people: Yes, there is an Emma Roberts, but there is also Emma! Not red carpet. My hair down. Basically no makeup."
