DJ Steve Aoki has married Australian model Tiernan Cowling, with the intimate wedding held on Friday in Maui in front of close friends and family members. Aoki and Cowling have been engaged since 2010.
The 38-year old electronic dance music star wed the 24-year-old Australian model in Hawaii with their closest loved ones in attendance, according to Us Weekly.
A rep for the couple told the publication, "Steve married his longtime girlfriend in a small, private and intimate ceremony in Maui yesterday in front of their families."
The EDM DJ, who is the son of the late professional wrestler Hiroaki “Rocky” Aoki – the founder of Benihana – proposed to Cowling in 2010.

Aoki is known for his DJ skills as well as his outrageous shows, which include super soakers, jumping into a raft and surfing over the audiencechampagne showers and throwing cake at the crowd.
The EDM star came up with the "throwing cake" idea in 2011, which he reveals was inspired by an Autoerotique music video.
Aoki explained, "I literally woke up with the idea of caking someone while playing that song to help promote the video. After I retired the song from my set six months later though, I didn’t retire the cake. Fans had been shooting videos and showing their friends. They saved their cake-covered shirts like a badge of honor and it became a strong element of my show. The cake had gone viral."
The newlywed is one of the top five highest paid DJ's, with Forbes reporting he brings in around $23 million a year.
