As most already know, the Miss Universe 2015 pageant went off WITH a hitch this past Sunday evening. Host Steve Harvey made the mistake of calling out the wrong name, thus crowning the wrong Miss Universe. But it's a comment from famed blogger Perez Hilton regarding Donald Trump that's really getting attention.
Okay, not nearly as much as Harvey's mess-up, but it's grabbing some.
Here's a little backstory: Trump used to own Miss Universe – the pageant, not the woman (we think) – but when he began making several declarations during his presidential campaign, many which have been perceived as racist, the businessman reportedly sold his share of the pageant.
And he's apparently very pleased with his decision.
Very sad what happened last night at the Miss Universe Pageant. I sold it 6 months ago for a record price. This would never have happened!

So, just what did Hilton say regarding Trump? Well, pretty much that he's thankful The Donald doesn't own it anymore. The blogger, who judges the pageant, was met with uproarious applause from the crowd after his comment.
In fact, the remark was later thrown on Vine and tweeted by the Miss Universe official Twitter account.

Naturally, people are more so discussing some other events that went down during last night's show – meaning Harvey's slip. The comedian came out after announcing Miss Colombia the winner. "I have to apologize," he said. "The first runner-up is Colombia."
After the crown was taken off of Miss Colombia – which, well, ouch – and placed on the real winner, Miss Philippines, he announced to the crowd, "This is exactly what's on the card. I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake. It was on the card. Horrible mistake, but the right thing."
Harvey then showed the card to the crowd, proving that was indeed his mistake. He then asked the audience not to hold it against the ladies. "We feel so badly, but it's still a great night."
So, how was your Sunday evening? Probably better than Steve Harvey's, we'd imagine – but not as good as Perez Hilton's.
