Public Figure, blogger and author Karen Civil partnered with Lil Wayne to give children in Haiti some Merry Christmas holiday cheer, according to Living Civil.

This past Friday, Civil and Wayne donated merchandise from their respective clothing lines to 500 children in need. Wayne provided clothing from his Trukfit clothing line alongside "Live Civil" Thinking Caps from Civil.

Another major surprise the beautiful children received, a Santa Claus worth remembering for a lifetime! Haitian-American professional boxer Andre Berto dressed up as Santa, passed out toys and listened to their truest hearts' desires.

Living Civil quotes Wayne: "A lot of people tend to forget about those who are less fortunate during the holiday season, not many understand how receiving just one item could bring so much joy to a child's life, especially if they don't have the same everyday luxuries that the fortunate tend to overlook. I am grateful to be able to give back to Haiti in any way possible."

BET reports, Wayne was not able to be physically present but his heart was felt. Civil, on the other hand, was there and wanted everyone to know what the main message of the Live Civil playground and school remodeling charity event – to stress the importance of literacy, education and fun.

The importance of striving for more was definitely felt because not only were the children gifted with materialistic items, but Living Civil reports that the Scholastic Corporation donated a book for every single one of the 500 children in attendance.

Civil even read a portion of her new book, Be You & Live Civil.

"The Live Civil initiative in Haiti is something that brings me joy! Being able to put a smile on the kids faces during the holidays is a gift within itself," the publication quotes Civil.

Another amazing way to end the year off, giving to the less fortunate with not only toys but tools to feed their mind as well.
