Julianne Hough was robbed of $100,000 worth of jewelry on March 8 after the actress left the items, reportedly all a gift from her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, in her car.
The Dancing with the Stars alum had her Mercedes parked outside of an apartment complex in Los Angeles while she was visiting a friend but left three pieces of jewelry in the car, law enforcement sources told TMZ. When she returned to her car a few hours later, she noticed the door wide open and the items stolen from the interior.
The three pieces of jewelry have a confirmed total value of $100,000 and a source told the gossip website one of the items was a $50,000 watch. Sources said there was no signs of forced entry and reps for both stars have yet to address news of the theft.
Hough's film Safe Haven, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel and starring Josh Duhamel, is out in theaters now. She called her boyfriend her "supporter" in the March 2013 issue of Self magazine and in February she talked about her co-star during a On Air With Ryan Seacrest interview.
"This guy is the best dude ever," Hough said, to which Duhamel replied, "Yes we will be friends forever."
