Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Break Up Update: Starlet Wants Fiance Back after 'Humiliating' Him, Parents 'Devastated, Worried about Bad Girl Image'

Rumors continue to swirl that following Liam Hemsworth's alleged cheating and Miley Cyrus' nonstop partying, the young Hollywood couple are officially over. But the break up gossip doesn't end there. Apparently 20-year-old Cyrus already wants her "Hunger Games" beau back - she was only trying to humiliate him the past few weeks because of the hookup rumors involving him and "Mad Men" sweetheart, January Jones. And it looks like Cyrus' own parents (Billy Ray and Tish) are strongly crossing their fingers for a quick reconciliation. The celebrity mom and dad were completely "devastated" when they heard that the engagement was off, and is worried how Cyrus' wild single-life status might damper her public image. As Mstars originally reported, Hemsworth was spotted getting flirty with Jones back in February. Following that incident, Cyrus stepped out in public without her engagement ring and Hemsworth jetted back home to Australia for a "break." Now, an unnamed source for gossip guru Perez Hilton explains, "They'll probably end up together, but Miley is just giving him hell right now and trying to publicly humiliate him. They were always arguing about the company she kept and her actions with alcohol and stuff, and it made him especially uncomfortable when he was not home to supervise. Plus, Miley isn't looking so fierce these days and Liam hasn't really been feeling her 'look.'" 

The alleged insider goes on to reveal:

"The second Miley caught wind of Liam being unfaithful she took that as an opportunity to rip into him because he made her feel guilty all the time about her behavior. But she never cheated on him. If Miley has her way, the breakup won't last because she's head over heels for Liam and ultimately doesn't want to lose him. But now that Liam is taking some time away from her, he might come to the realization that she's not the best fit for him. And that terrifies Miley." 

Do fans truly believe that Cyrus tried to "torment" Hemsworth as a means of revenge - and now she'll do anything to get him back?

Well, apparently that's the way Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus hope things eventually work out. According to another unnamed source for Hollywood Life:

"Miley's parents do not want to see this split happen, they're really worried about Miley. They hate the idea of Miley being single, especially now that she's going through such a wild stage. They know Liam's a good influence on her, he's very stable and unlike some guys she's been with they know he's not using her for money or fame...

Liam's no angel, he likes to drink and have fun, but mostly he's very focused on his career. He's extremely disciplined and they think he's a good influence on Miley. Without him around to keep her on track who knows how wild she could get, it's a huge worry for them and if she's single they know it will only get worse."

That's a lot of personal information coming from an unnamed source... but the insider doesn't stop there. The starlet's parents are definitely worried about their daughter's "bad girl" image and what it might mean for her faith:

"When Miley moved in with Liam before getting married, it was a huge deal. It caused a lot of tension between Billy Ray and Tish because he felt like she was encouraging Miley to go against their faith. Billy Ray got over the fact that they were living in sin when they got engaged - that was a big relief for him. If the wedding doesn't happen he's going to take it very hard. They have their own issues in their marriage so the last thing they need is another fight over Miley."
