Dada Life is about to "Unleash the Dada" as they get kicked out of the airport on their way to Miami Music Week.
While attempting to travel to Miami for the Ultra Music Festival today, the Swedish electro-house duo Dada Life have "ultra" airport issues. DJs Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom had their passports taken away by the Swedish border control at an airport in Stockholm.
We were first made aware of the problem when the duo starting venting on their Twitter page earlier today:
"F**k.... They just took our passports away! Looks like we're not going to Miami today..."
A couple hours later, the creators of EDM's fairytale 'Dada Land' followed up their initial tweet with:
"So we're back from the airport...no Miami for us. At least not today. Our passports are taken away and we still don't know why. F**K!"
Continuing to 'feed the data' of their trip delays to their followers via Facebook, the DJ's posted:
"So this is what we know about the crazy stuff that happened earlier today: our passports were taken by swedish border control when we were going to Miami this morning. They said something about following "standard procedure" when a Swedish citizen should be stopped from leaving the country. They have our passports now and we can't do anything! They also said swedish authorities will contact us through mail... Thanks for all your support with this..."
Sorry boys..apparently there are rules besides the rules of Dada!
While the two don't have official set times during either weekends of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, hopefully they'll still be able to "arrive beautiful and leave ugly" somehow...
