Rihanna was forced to evacuate the Project Los Angeles nightclub amidst gunfire outside the Hollywood hotspot. The 27-year old was there with her rumored boyfriend, 23-year old musician Travis Scott, as well as other A-list partygoers including Ty Dolla $ign. Reportedly, a group of unnamed men gathered outside the venue and began arguing when one took out a gun a began shooting.
The "Diamonds" singer and her friends were attending a Christmas party before the chaos erupted outside. Witnesses claim they heard the shots from inside the club which caused a brief panic. Police then arrived and detained five men but no arrests were made and no injuries were reported.
Fans of the "We Found Love" Grammy winner were naturally concerned for her safety but according to an insider, she and Travis were fine. "Rihanna's wasn't scared at all after leaving the club following the shooting. She knew that she was safe the entire time and went on with her night in good spirits." said a source to Hollywood Life, who, when asked about Rihanna's relationship status, added, "Travis is Rihanna's man and she is very happy with him. She is looking forward to 2016 and spending a lot of her time with him including the tour they'll be doing together. She is very happy with him and does not want to mess it up at all."
TMZ obtained footage of the Barbadian vocalist leaving the scene when she asked about the release of her much anticipated eighth studio album ANTI. Online rumors claimed it would be released over the holidays but the ex-girlfriend of Chris Brown has not confirmed anything. In fact, singer/songwriter Sia recently told Entertainment Weekly that Rih is looking for new tracks for her album. Rihanna's last studio album was the 2012 released Unapologetic.
