According to ESPN sports columnist Pierre LeBrun, "A shootout win Sunday over visiting Winnipeg helps stop the bleeding for a Devils team that has won only twice in their past nine games (2-6-1) without Martin Brodeur in goal." 

The Flyers snag the meager no 5 spot in the Eastern Atlantic Conference with a 12-15-1 record. Philly ranks no 22 overall. As LeBrun points out, "Is this the NHL's most confounding team? A Sunday home win over Buffalo relieved a bit of the pressure but these guys do not look in sync.."

When both tri-state teams last faced-off on Jan. 22, the Devils proved victorious with a 3-0 score.
