Dakota Meyer Confirms He's Sailor Grace's Dad: Bristol Palin's Ex Missing During Her Birth?

Bristol Palin's ex-fiance, Dakota Meyer is the father of baby Sailor Grace, but it appears he may have been missing during his daughter's birth. According to Radar Online, the 27-year-old U.S. Marine veteran shared a photo of his new baby girl on his Facebook page.

"Best Christmas present ever!!" Meyer said showing a photo of baby Grace right after she was born. "I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing."

We previously reported that Palin welcomed her second child days before Christmas on Dec. 23. Palin also has a 7-year-old son named Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston. His father is Palin's ex-fiance, Levi Johnston.

Radar claimed that Palin's baby daddy wasn't present during his daughter's birth. Sarah Palin revealed that her 14-year-old daughter Piper, and a family friend, Marina Lupas, were in the delivery room when baby Grace made her debut into the world.

"Oh, perfect love! The best gift ever! Thank you, Bristol, for your strength and good heart and your love of life. The most important people in Bristol's life were there to witness the miracle of Sailor Grace Palin's arrival last night," The former governor of Alaska wrote in a blog. "Thank you for sharing the miracle with Piper, Marina, and me, Bri! And we thank Todd for taking care of the rest of the family during this most precious beginning of a great new chapter!"

Meyer may be the father of Palin's daughter, but she will not have his last name. Like grandma Palin said above, her full name is Sailor Grace Palin. Before the 25-year-old announced her second pregnancy, Palin's mother revealed that her daughter and Meyer called off their wedding plans.

"They have informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned for May 23 will not be held," Mama Palin previously stated. "Many friends and family still look forward to getting together that day in Kentucky anyway – and the Palins and Meyers are happily looking forward to still being at 'the old Kentucky home' on May 23 to celebrate life, in general."
