Lil Wayne Coma and Death Scare: Weezy F. Baby Not Dead, Friends & Celebs React on Twitter While Weezy is in Hospital [News Update]

Lil Wayne reportedly "drank too much sizzurp" and fell into a coma after suffering from seizures. Mstars reported last night that many rumors circulated throughout the web that Weezy F. Baby died. Top Twitter keywords searched included "Lil Wayne Dead," "Weezy Dead" and many fans offered up prayers on Twitter.

This death scare left the world on its toes as the situation was unclear.

US Weekly reported that another source close to Weezy said, "TMZ was so off base. Wayne is fine." Unfortunately, "He drank too much sizzurp to get a better high. He needs rehab but he's not close to death or anything. He's fine and just coming down off the high," the source continued.

The rapper's rep also confirmed with US that "Wayne is doing well."

Lil Wayne himself tweeted last night, "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love."

Another recent update by TMZ states that label mate Drake visited Lil Wayne at the hospital. Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul and his wife made a visit to Cedars hospital.

Reports seem to be very serious however a friend of Lil Wayne tweeted that it's not as serious as it seems.

T.I (@Tip) tweeted, "Just holla'd @my Lil bruh Tunechi...& he skraight! TMZ some fuck-niggaz for reporting that hoe-ass-shit!!! That man daughter is like mines."

DJ Skee tweeted, "Just got double confirmation from a second family source Wayne is going to be ok- he's in hospital, but not life threatening. TMZ was wrong."

Mack Maine wrote, "@LilTunechi bout to send a tweet out to kill this and everyone can go back to what they were doing."

He continued, "Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game…thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love"

Jay Sean spoke out and tweeted, "I jus spoke to some of the ymcmb fan- they say Wayne's getting better- don't pay too much attention to the media hype!"
