Gwyneth Paltrow has two children with Coldplay singer Chris Martin (Apple and Moses) but she recently opened up about another pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage and almost killed her in the process. The 40-year-old actress is starting to feel like she "missed the window" for another child, making the anguish of her miscarriage even more painful. Her recent interview with The Daily Mail delved into the hard subject and allowed for the Iron Man actress to open up to her followers.
She does not go into much detail on when the miscarriage occurred and what caused her to almost die, but she felt comfortable enough now to share the harrowing story. She said:
"My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I'm thinking about it. But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn't work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here or should we go back and try again?'"
Though she is distraught over the miscarriage, she still revels in her life with her husband, 36-year-old Martin. She said:
"Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father. [Chris] is so good to the children and to know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support."
Many other women in the spotlight have shared their miscarriage misfortunes with the world including Beyonce, Pink, Mariah Carey and Lilly Allen.
