'Girls' Season 2 Finale Recap: Lena Dunham's Character Hannah Finds Love? March 17 Episode 'Together' Review, Marnie and Charlie Back Together?

Season two of HBO's hit show "Girls" took place Sunday night (March 17). The Judd Apatow produced show has been a critically acclaimed hit with a passionate fan base. In the "Girls" season finale Hannah's e-book is due, Charlie and Marnie go to brunch, and Shoshanna finally tells Ray the truth. Season 2 of "Girls" has shown what happens when friends put their careers, love, and other matters ahead of their friendships.  In the final episode of season 2, "Together," Lena Dunham's character Hannah continues her downward spiral. She is hearing ringing in her ear due to the q-tip fiasco. To make matters worse her editor David gives her a call and tells her he will sue her if she doesn't finish her e-book. Hannah sings, "I'm gonna write a whole book in a day."

Hannah calls her dad hoping he will advance her some money for when her editor sues her. Hannah's dad decides not to lend her the money because he feels Hannah is manipulating him.

Marnie and Charlie get brunch together. Marnie, like Hannah, seems to be having a daily breakdown. She has had a very rough year and it's tough watching her character make a fool of herself. Marnie awkwardly realizes that she and Charlie are just having casual sex and not actually dating. She leaves but comes back telling Charlie this is his last chance. Poor Charlie is still in love with Marnie and it seems like the two are going to try and make their relationship work. I wish this relationship would just end in a happily ever after scenario, but we all know that isn't going to happen. For now; however, Marnie and Charlie look to be back together.

Shoshanna reveals to Ray that she is upset that he doesn't have more ambition. Of course she tells him this while they are having sex. Ray decides he will finish his PHD in Latin Studies, but his boss at the cafe talks him out of it. His boss tells Ray he is building another store in Brooklyn and he wants Ray to manage it. Ray agrees, but Shoshanna isn't happy with this decision. They end up getting in an argument, but Shoshanna still never tells Ray about the other guy.

Marnie tries to check on Hannah by reaching out, but Hannah's neurotic ways get in the way. Will the former friends ever get back to where they were? Hannah ends up getting a haircut that looks quite hideous. This girl is reaching new lows every week. Luckily her knight in shining armor is on his way.

Adam and Natalia have another awkward sexual encounter where Natalia seems freaked out by Adam's sexual preferences. Hannah ends up face-timing Adam when he is in the middle of a shirtless construction project. Adam notices that Hannah is still having problems with her OCD. In a heroic scene Adam runs shirtless over to Hannah's apartment. He knocks down her door, tells Hannah he has always been there, then kisses Hannah. End of season two.
