Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey Secretly Dating After Messy Divorces?

Despite 2015 being a depressing year for Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey after their messy divorces with their spouses, it looks like 2016 is going to be filled with love for the actors. According to a new report. the pair are secretly hooking up.

OK! magazine reported that Garner and Dempsey are texting and Skyping each other after the 43-year-old actress reached out to the actor knowing that they are going through the same path in their failed marriage.

A source told the publication that it all happened "a few months back" when Garner asked the 49-year-old former Grey's Anatomy star out for coffee.

"They've been friends for years... it was only natural for them to confide in each other," the source said. "As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them. Jen was relieved - and excited."

The magazine also noted that the actors had "great chemistry" when they first starred together in Valentine’s Day in 2010. Now that they are both separated from their partners, the duo may finally may just be taking their connection off-screen.

Garner and Ben Affleck announced their split in June, just one day after celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary.

"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time," the couple said in a joint statement.

Dempsey's wife, Jillian Fink, filed for divorce on January 21, citing irreconcilable differences. After their divorce drama, Dempsey was spotted still wearing his wedding ring, making fans think that the pair will be able to work things out.

But despite the glimmer of hope, Dempsey and Fink are still headed for divorce.
