Apparently rumors that "Harry Potter" sweetheart Emma Watson was "secretly" cast as Anastasia Steele in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of E.L. James' hit erotica trilogy "Fifty Shades of Grey" are totally FALSE. In fact, it seems that the 22-year-old starlet isn't interested in the kinky role... at all. Following reports that the infamous hacker group Anonymous broke into the German movie studio Constantin and discovered that Watson officially snagged the part of Miss Steele, the English actress took to Twitter herself to finally debunk all of the nonstop rumors. On Saturday (March 16), Watson posted the rather blunt tweet, "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life." So apparently that settles that - on to the next Anastasia Steele fan-favorite!

As Mstars originally reported:

Apparently, hackers over at the infamous hacktivist group Anonymous have managed to find evidence that Anastasia Steele fan-favorite Emma Watson was officially cast in E.L. James' highly-anticipated film adoption of "Fifty Shades of Grey!" According to several recent reports, the tech-nerd "outlaws" of Anonymous recently broke into the database of the German movie studio Constantin. The hackers allegedly acquired tons of secret information about several upcoming film projects... including Focus Features' "Fifty Shades of Grey." The group claims that they are able to confirm the long-standing casting rumors surrounding Anastasia Steele - Christian Grey's "young and innocent" mistress will be played by the 22-year-old "Harry Potter" starlet, Emma Watson!

Anonymous managed to publish "internal documents" with information on several films in development that Constantin is considering for acquisition. One of those films included "Fifty Shades of Grey." Although such documents didn't go into much detail, members of the group insist that Watson has secured the role of Miss. Steele.

It looks like the tech-trouble makers have now managed to punk the public, too.

Watson has remained relatively hush-hush in regards to the ongoing Ana Steele buzz, although she's never voiced any disinterest in the role. Until now...

@EmWatson: "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life."

@EmWatson: "?"

@EmWatson: "Good. Well that's that sorted then."

@EmWatson: ": )."

And apparently, several loyal Watson supporters are relieved that she won't associate herself with the kinky film franchise. Watson's original tweet was "favorited" over 30,100 times, with comments like:

@IBreathePotter: "YOU ARE THE BEST ROLE MODEL IN THE WORLD! Thank you so, so much! You are everything, you are amazing. Thank you."

@Apocalypse2001: "please don't. It'll ruin your career/image. Like a certain other female actor had her image destroyed with that twilight garbage."

@ebrown2112: "I don't think Emma is even considering it. It's not that it's explicit, it's that it's dog sh##."

@FlawlessWatson: "ok BLESS YOU I LOVE YOU SO MUCK AND THIS TWEET GOT +26K RTs BECAUSE YOU WORTH IT."

@UnbrokenCyrus: "you're too good for that sh##."

Do readers agree?

Watson has taken on more mature, "good girl gone bad" roles in recent months ("The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "The Bling Ring"...), but apparently "Fifty Shades" is where she resolutely draws the line. Or is the stunning starlet merely attempting to throw "Fifty Shades" fans off-course...
