Kanye West, best known as the rapper who brought you "Gold Digger" and "New Slaves" is bearing a new title of fashion mogul after winning the GQ Magazine's Most Stylish Man of the Year honor for the second time. Mr. West beat out some stiff competition including model Lucky Blue Smith, Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington, James Bond actor Daniel Craig and David Beckham.
Kanye West witnessed huge fashion success this year with the release of his Yeezy line during New York Fashion week. Last month, West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, welcomed their newborn son, Saint West, baby brother to North West. In between daddy duties, West has been dedicated to building his brand as a fashion designer. This hard work is paying off with the two time honor of GQ's Most Stylish Man of the year. His signature designer/sportswear combination outfits have made him a leader in the menswear fashion lane.
GQ selected finalists for the honor not based on their red carpet looks, but instead their street style. Teams were tasked to pull together dozens of pictures of everything nominees have been caught wearing throughout the year. Once finalist have been selected, the general public can cast their votes for the Most Stylish Man. With 520,119 votes, Kanye took the crown, beating the other finalists by a landslide. Kanye had plenty of help from his wife as she repeatedly urged her fans to vote.

Winning in the fashion industry has been a lifelong dream for West. In an interview with T Magazine he said, "I dreamed, since I was a little kid, of having my own store where I could curate every shoe, sweatshirt and color," he said. "I have sketches of it. I cried over the idea of having my own store."
