Kicking off her "breaking news" story segment on Fox54, on Saturdayevening (March 16), anchorwoman Jillian Pavlica had no idea that she was actually reading her own marriage proposal on live TV! Pavlica's fiancé Vince talked with producers before the show, and managed to revise the autocue teleprompter so that Pavlica would unwittingly report "that a Huntsville news anchor is being proposed to on live TV right now." Vince then approached the live set and dropped down on one knee in front of the shocked and emotional Pavlica - and she said yes!

Before the adorable segment, Fox's Nine O'Clock News producer Dana Conley told Pavlica that there was an impromptu breaking news story that she would have to report. Turns out, Pavlica's fiancé Vince got permission to hijack the teleprompter beforehand...

Standing with two other broadcasters, a professional Pavlica begins reading:

"We have some breaking news to report to you, FOX54 has just learned that a Huntsville news anchor is being proposed to on live TV right now."

A stunned Pavlica begins stumbling on her words once she realizes what is happening. Her two fellow anchormen quickly hop off the set, and Vince approaches with a little box in-hand.

In the live studio video, Vince is overheard telling Pavlica, "Finally all our pieces are falling together. I can't picture a day in my life not waking up with you." Pavlica manages to choke out a tearful "Yes," and the happy couple kiss. Check it out!

A fellow co-host was left to finish off the 9 p.m. broadcast with a weather forecast. He signed off with, "Here in the FOX54, 100 percent chance of a few tears of joy tonight."
