In case you missed it, last week (March 11 to 15) on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" it was Justin Timberlake week. The music and now movie superstar joined Jimmy Fallon all week as a guest and musical performer. The NBC late night host and Timberlake ended the week on Friday on a high note. Timberlake and Fallon performed their famous, viral music hit "History of Rap" for fans. The "History of Rap" is a medley of hip hop's greatest hits performed by Timberlake and Fallon live. Among the other highlights given to fans from Timberlake's week long stay on "Late Night' was Timberlake ending his feud with Kanye West, a barbershop quartet performance of "Sexy Back," and some musical performances off Timberlake's forthcoming album "The 20/20 Experience."
Fallon and Timberlake included rap hits "It's Tricky" from Run D-M-C, "Gin and Juice" from Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Notorius B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize", and Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" among others in the "History of Rap 4."
Before performing the two stars teased fans by saying they couldn't tarnish the rap song's famous history by performing a fourth version. However, to the delight of millions, Timberalke and Fallon gave the fans what they wanted.
Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" drops tomorrow (Tuesday) and there is already talk of a second version of the album being released in November. Volume 2 of "The 20/20 Experience" could be released with 10 more songs according to MTV News who spoke with Jimmy Fallon band member and Roots drummer Quest Love. Timberlake also revealed recently that he and Jay-Z recorded a number of songs together that will hopefully be released to fans at some point.
There is plenty of exciting news going around for Timberlake fans. Let's just hope Timberlake and Fallon have a "History of Rap 5" in store for the future.
