While it might have been reported that the sibling rivalry between Kyle Richards and her sister Kathy Hilton was finally over just in time for the holidays, it seems that the sisters haven't completely patched things up just yet. We previously reported that the girls were spotted playing nice at Kris Jenner's annual holiday party, including snapping and posting an Instagram picture together, however, it doesn't look like the picture is telling the whole truth.

In fact, according to PEOPLE magazine, the siblings were just putting on a happy face, and haven't really made up.

"There is still lots of tension," an insider explained to the news site. "There is no truce."

The Instagram pic, which also featured Richards pal, Faye Resnick, was posted to Kyle's social media page to a lot of fan's wondering if the gals had finally moved past their issues, but the news site is saying that the festive image was just for show.

"They put on a good face at the party [but] there's a lot to work on still," the source explained of the sibling rivalry.

It seems that the real issue is still stemming from the fact that Richard's husband Mauricio Umansky left Rick Hilton's company because he was passed up for making partner, and he started his own company, and it has caused issue for the sisters and the whole family.

Radar Online reported, "Mauricio wanted to be a partner in Hilton & Hyland but Rick would never make him one," an insider explained. "He just kept putting him off an putting him off. Mauricio finally quit Rick's company and started his own company, The Agency."

"This destroyed the relationship with Rick but there was nothing else for Mauricio to do," the source continued. "He wanted to be a partner and Rick just wasn't doing it for him."
