Have you ever heard of Steve Wozniak? Maybe not, but that doesn't mean he isn't very important and very rich. Wozniak is the Apple co-founder who just lowered the price of his California home to $4.4 million. Yup, Wozniak lowered the price to $4.4 million. The company's co-founder, designed the company's original Apple 1, the first computer sold by the company back in the 1970's. Steve Jobs may be best known for Apple computers, but Wozniak is just as important.

Wozniak is selling his Los Gatos, California home that he built over 25 years ago. He originally put the house on the market for more than $5 million last February, but has since dropped the price to $4.395. The 7,500 square foot home overlooks the Los Gatos mountains and has six bedrooms and six full bathrooms.

Wozniak built the home about a decade after he and Jobs built the world's first home computer in Jobs' garage. The computer whiz made some renovations to the home back in 2006. The home reportedly also includes an indoor kids play area, outdoor koi pond, and pool with a waterfall.

Wozniak appeared as himself in CBS' hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" in 2010. He also competed in season 8 of "Dancing with the Stars" along with pro dancer Karina Smirnoff.

The Apple co-founder also reportedly was dating comedian Kathy Griffin for some time. Wozniak attended the 2007 Emmy Awards with Griffin, but in June of 2008, Griffin confirmed to Howard Stern that the two were no longer dating.

In 2000, Wozniak was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. He also was awarded the 7th Annual Heinz Award for Technology in 2001 as well as the Isaac Asimov Science Award in 2011.

Back in November of 2011, Wozniak was the keynote speaker Rutgers University's "Rutgers Entrepreneurship Day."

Clearly Wozniak is not as well known as Steve Jobs, but he may deserve as much credit. He will likely go down as one of the world's greatest inventors and computer programmers.
