The Chicago Blackhawks vs. the Colorado Avalanche battle it out on the ice at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Monday, March 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Monday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Blackhawks head into Monday night's game as the no 1 team in the NHL Western Central Conference. Chicago snags the overall no 1 spot in the division, with a 23-2-3 record. According to ESPN sports columnist Scott Burnside, "The Blackhawks are back on track after a minor wobble following the end of their record points streak last week. They pounded Dallas 8-1 Saturday, as if to remind everyone they were back. No reminder required. Blackhawks are still the creme de la creme."
The Avalanche snag the no 5 spot in the NHL Western Central Conference, and the no 27 overall spot with a 10-13-4 record (out of 30 teams). As Burnside points out, "Talk about a team stumbling around in the hockey wilderness. The Avs' 3-7-2 stretch, which includes three straight losses, has seen them plummet to the bottom of the Western Conference standings."
Tonight's face-off on the ice should prove a fierce battle between one of NHL West's best teams and one of its worst.
The game will be broadcasted live on CSN-CH and ALT2, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 104.3 The Fan, 102.3 ESPN, 720 WGN, ESPN 1000, and 670 The Score.
