Season 14 for NBC's hit reality show "The Biggest Loser" may have been one of the best seasons yet. In 2013, NBC decided to switch things up and for the first time ever include three kids on the show in an effort to fight childhood obesity. The kids weren't involved in the actual competition for "The Biggest Loser Challenge America," but the show came down to three final contestants. Danni and Jeff are definitely in, with Jackson and Joe's fate in the hands of the voters. How did the season finale of "The Biggest Loser" play out?
America voted for Jackson to be in the final three of season 14. However, Joe is still eligible for the $100,000 at-home prize and he transformed himself this season on the show. The final prize of $250,000 comes down to Jackson, Danni, and Jeff.
Viewers first get to see how Lindsay, one of the kid contestants did. She lost 47 pounds! Next up, the show picks the at-home winner by seeing which one of the contestants from season 14 lost the highest percentage of weight. The winner of $100,000 is Gina, who lost 113 pounds and 46.12% of her weight. It's truly amazing to see how much weight every one of the contestants lost.
Biingo is the next kid contestant. He lost 43 pounds and also grew two inches! Biingo also inspired his family who lost a combined 200 pounds. Biingo also found out on the show that he made his baseball team.
The final child contestant was Sunny who lost 51 pounds and five dress sizes. Each child did an incredible job and really transformed themselves.
Finally the time has come for the final weight in for Danni, Jackson, and Jeff. Jackson is up first and he lost 138 pounds, which is 42.07%. Jeff goes up next and surpasses Jackson by losing 181 pounds and 46.65% of his body weight. Can Danni lose more than 46.65%? Danni gets on the scale and loses 121 pounds. She needed to lose 120 pounds, making Danni the 2013 "Biggest Loser!" Although Danni is the winner of the competition, after seeing how much weight all the contestants lost, they really all did an amazing job. Congratulations to all the contestants.
