Just as Miranda Lambert seems to have found love again, it appears that her new boyfriend, Anderson East might have a criminal history of sorts. It turns out that East was previously arrested on drug charges.
According to Radar Online, East had a past run in with the law, and was arrested before dating the Country singer.
East, whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, was arrested back in 2007 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, after he was pulled over for driving without his headlights on. While stopped, police noticed the smell of weed and East admitted that he "smoked a bowl" the night before. At that time, the police also revealed that they found some marijuana inside of the car.
After that, Lambert's new beau was charged with "reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia." The 28-year-old was sentenced to a year's probation for the charge, and had to pay a $250 fine.
Since then, East's charges have been dropped.
This news comes just a few days after Blake Shelton's ex confirmed that she was dating East, who is an Nashville R&B singer. The two posted a photo together snuggling over the weekend.
MStars News hopes this doesn't ruin the new relationship. Perhaps Lambert already knew about her man's past before the news came out.
Meanwhile her ex, Shelton, is still dating his Voice co-star, Gwen Stefani. Like Jordin Sparks, Shelton is a die-hard Arizona Cardinals fan. Last week Shelton, and Stefani were seen at the game as the Cardinals took on the Green Bay Packers.

MStars News previously learned about Shelton and Stefani's relationship back in the fall after Shelton finalized his divorce from Lambert. At that time, Stefani's marriage to Gavin Rossdale was coming to an end.
