Watch WWE 'Monday Night Raw' Live Stream Online 1/4/16: Roman Reigns Defends WWE Title

WWE will air the January 4, 2016 episode of Monday Night Raw from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, and the main event will feature Roman Reigns' defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus with Vince McMahon as the special guest referee. The show will air on the USA Network at 8 p.m. Eastern, but if you can't watch there, try here or here - both of these streaming provider links broadcast free live streams but may require downloading a torrent.

Reigns had jumped some pretty major hurdles on the December 14, 2015 edition of Raw when he had to capture the title from Sheamus or lose his job with the company. The Celtic Warrior, as per usual, had the League of Nations on his side, but Reigns took them all out during the match. To top it off, McMahon repeatedly inserted himself into the match by distracting the referee, but Reigns put a stop to that with a thunderous Superman Punch.

But tonight, the situation changes. The boss could directly decide the outcome of the match through a fast count, a physical attack, or some other means. And considering the way McMahon has officiated against his enemies when he's put on the black and white stripes, Reigns is in for a long night.

Yet there are several ways this match could develop tonight. Reigns could, by accident or design, incapacitate McMahon and a different referee could rush down and count the pin. Or the boss could decide to join Reigns (or vice versa), which would essentially turn both men heel. Or Triple H could come back (even for a post-match assault on Reigns) to build to a match at Royal Rumble, as so many fans think expect to happen.

But no matter how this plays out, it's not likely that Reigns would lose the title so soon after acquiring it, so don't expect to see Sheamus leave San Antonio with the belt.
