According to Us magazine, Loflin popped the question during a trip on New Year's Eve to a beach in Florida. The 27-year-old revealed that she and her fiancee were looking for seashells on the beach during sunset when he guided her to her engagement ring that was in one of the shells.
"I was determined to find the best shell that day," she said. "We had been walking, searching for about an hour, and I saw this beautiful swirly shell hidden in the sand, and the ring was also hiding in there, and he got on his one knee as I pulled the ring out, and he said, 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?'"
Of course she said yes! Surely Loflin's creativity made the moment even more special.
As for the ring, Robertson's engagement ring is one of a kind. The oval-shaped ring is described as a "14-karat-gold art deco-style ring with a large oval-shaped opal." Opal is the soon-to-be bride's birth stone, and favorite stone as well. Jewelry designer Lindsey Lewis worked with Loflin and his sister, Nicki Loflin Sampognaro, to come up with the beautiful ring.

As for the shock of her life, Robertson said that she "had no idea" that her man was about to propose. "Apparently all my friends and family knew, but everyone did a really good job hiding it from me; they have got some really good acting skills!"
MStars News previously reported that it was an exciting week for the Duck Dynasty family. Robertson's parents are planning on adopting a 13-year-old. Mama Korie said that the new edition to their family has been spending time with them for a few months.
"He's been with us since May, but we wanted some privacy and time for him and our family to bond before telling the world (It's a bit of an adjustment coming into this big, crazy family, ha)."
She added, "He's amazing, and we are all so thrilled to have another kid around the house. Couldn't keep the good news to ourselves any longer! We appreciate your prayers and support for our family!"
We've had lots of questions about the cute kid popping up in our photos lately; We are excited to be in the process of...
