Season 5 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee continued earlier today with a new episode from veteran comic Jerry Seinfeld. In this episode, the Seinfeld star invited in funnyman Bill Burr. Kicking off by picking the Boston comedian up in a Ford Mustang (apparently Burr is a Ford-guy) the two then headed on over to the Novel Café for some coffee and conversations about the NFL domestic violence scandals, his appearance on Breaking Bad and the Chappelle’s Show and his thoughts on the social media in today’s world… including Facebook and Twitter. As MStars News reported earlier today, Chris Hemsworth was announced People Magazine’s sexiest man alive. And while the Australian Thor star appears certainly happy at the decision, not everyone is thrilled… like Arrested Development and Horrible Bosses 2 star Jason Bateman. The actor stopped by ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live to get some of the frustration off of his chest. Read More »
The White House Correspondents' Dinner has seen plenty of Saturday Night Live cast members as host over the years, so we weren't too surprised to learn that 2015 host would be Cecily Strong! The former "Weekend Update" host will follow in her former SNL buddy Seth Meyers' footsteps, but she'll also be the fourth female host of the exciting Presidential event. These other women were Wanda Sykes, Paula Poundstone and Aretha Franklin. Read More »
The recently announced comedy special Bill Cosby 77 was set to premiere on Netflix on Nov. 28, the comedian's 77th birthday. This week, however, Netflix announced that it would postpone the premiere of the stand up special, most likely due to the recent rape allegations and scandal surrounding the former TV star. We assume the show would be cancelled altogether considering the mounting controversy that he's involved in. Read More »

During last night’s episode of CONAN, host Conan O’Brien invited his friend and co-worker Jimmy Pardo to the couch – following a segment from The Homesman star Hilary Swank – to discuss not only his days in stand up days but also his upcoming 12-hour long telethon to benefit the charity Smile Train. The 6th annual event, titled Pardcast-a-Thon, houses Pardo and his Never Not Funny podcast crew – including co-host Matt Belknap, the “third chair” Pat Francis, intern Garon Cockrell, and videographer Eliot Hochberg – and a round up of guests every half-hour, resulting in over 12 hours of comedy, which is live-streamed online. If you didn't catch Saturday Night Live this past Saturday, Nov. 15, with guest host Woody Harrelson, then you totally missed out. Easily one of the best SNL episodes the network has churned out in quite some time, it all started with the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 star's monologue, which featured his fellow cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. And as if that wasn't enough, the bit kicked up a notch when they all spoofed Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" from her newest album 1989. Read More »

With the return of Lisa Kudrow’s Valerie Cherish-led HBO series The Comeback last week, we were curious as to how creator Sex and the City’s Michael Patrick King was going to re-introduce Cherish’s trusty sidekick and producer, Jane, for Season 2. Season 2 of HBO's The Comeback returned to the network just last week (Sunday, Nov. 9). Earlier tonight, episode 2 aired and displayed the return of Jane! Played by actress Laura Silverman, Jane stood as the eyes and ears of The Comeback (in the show) throughout Season 1 - somewhat acting as the audience to a degree. During tonight's episode, we find her character rather reluctant to get back into the swing of things, mainly due to the harsh reality of Hollywood. Regardless, either with her immense charm or unbelievable persistence, Valerie manages to bring Jane back to the team to shoot some BTS (that's behind the scenes!) footage of her new series Seeing Red. Laura Silverman recently spoke with MStars News about the return of The Comeback, the genius behind Lisa Kudrow and Michael Patrick King's writing and her future own plans! Read More »
