Video game developer Scott Cawthon found tremendous success within a year thanks to his Five Nights at Freddy's point-and-click survival horror franchise, which had four installments all released very quickly. Though we aren't getting a Five Nights at Freddy's 5, the game maker did announce this week that the scary characters you've come to love and most likely fear will appear in his next project, which won't be horror at all. The Five Nights at Freddy's horror survival, point-and-click video game series was launched about a year ago, and just last week gamers were treated the fourth and apparently "final chapter" of the franchise on Steam. This won't be the end of Freddy Fazbear's scary animatronic monsters though. Earlier this spring, Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon announced that a movie adaptation of the gameplay was in the works and now we have an update on this story!
