Aloha was supposed to be one of those Rom-Com type of movies meant to come and go. Some Native Hawaiians though have taken umbrage with the movie. According to them it's a misappropriation of their culture and it simplifies a word that they hold near and dear to them. The controversy started when it was announced that the Cameron Crow film starring Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone would be screening in Honolulu for three days.
