Aloha was supposed to be one of those Rom-Com type of movies meant to come and go. Some Native Hawaiians though have taken umbrage with the movie. According to them it's a misappropriation of their culture and it simplifies a word that they hold near and dear to them. The controversy started when it was announced that the Cameron Crow film starring Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone would be screening in Honolulu for three days. Filmmaker Cameron Crowe directs an all-star cast in his 2015 comedy Aloha and this week we were treated to a brand new trailer for the movie. Bradley Cooper stars as a military contractor who sees a huge failure in his work, only to be given a second chance back where he started his career- Hawaii. He meets up with an ex-girlfriend, ignites a romance with a young Air Force cadet and much more.
