We're going to find out who the new Spider-Man actor is in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Captain America: Civil War, but until then we have plenty to report on what actors are in the running for the reboot. With each passing week since the Marvel and Sony deal to create a new Peter Parker for new films took place, we've been naming young actors that are in the running for the role. Now, it looks like frontrunner Asa Butterfield still has to worry about Tom Holland and others that just showed up on another short list for the role. The new Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be introduced in Captain America: Civil War, then he'll get a standalone movie in 2017, and most likely star in other sequels and MCU projects. There seems to be a little back-and-forth when it comes to casting rumors about the new Spider-Man thanks to the 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios deal to reboot the character in Captain America: Civil War and more Cinematic Universe films.
