The 2014 Academy Awards ceremony had a special segment dedicated to movie heroes throughout the history of film, but there was one part of this bit that was, for some reason, cut. Apparently "Batkid," the 5-year-old boy named Miles Scott who became famous through his Make-a-Wish foundation spectacle in San Francisco, was supposed to show up and be deemed an official hero.
