Dev Hynes, more commonly known by his stage name of Blood Orange, put out one of the best albums of 2013 in Cupid Deluxe. Unfortunately, the last month has been terrible for Hynes. His longtime friendship with Solange Knowles fell apart publicly and, on December 16, his apartment caught fire, killing his dog Cupid and burning all of Hynes' earthly possesions. Read More »
Some people are just the worst, As we previously wrote, Dev Hynes (better known by his stage name of Blood Orange) lost all of his worldly possessions and his dog in a terrible apartment fire. The mother of Hynes' girlfriend started a crowdfunding campaign to help the singer get back on his feet. R&B singer-songwriter-producer Blood Orange is all over the work of Bey's indie R&B sis, Solange. The Cupid Deluxe singer- who's real name is Dev Hynes, had a major hand in Sol-angel's True EP, the mini-album that put the singer on the map. Unfortunately, the duo are having a bit of a disagreement over how much credit Orange deserves, and they appear to no longer be friends. Read More »
