Last night’s episode of CONAN was undoubtedly hilarious, but perhaps the funniest segment came during host Conan O’Brien’s “Coffee Table Books That Didn’t Sell” segment. If you haven’t seen the bit, it’s pretty self-explanatory –– O’Brien sits next to sidekick Andy Richter and the two go through some coffee table books that were rejected upon publication. And while last night’s segment held a number of funny pieces – including Stoned Horses – the best of all was the book Careful of the Coz!, which, naturally, had something to do with comedian Bill Cosby and those rape allegations being flung around from all different angles … too many actually. The bit came just days after Golden Globes 2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made a hilarious joke at the famed Cosby Show star’s expense and about a week after O’Brien gave a heartwarming speech about the Charlie Hebdo Tragedy in Paris. It’s been a crazy week after the unfortunate and horrific murders at the Charlie Hebdo offices and killings in Paris, France. After MStars News first reported on the events, including Real Time host Bill Maher heading on over to Jimmy Kimmel Live and making some comments about the Muslim religion, it’s now being announced that the underground hacking group known as Anonymous has declared war on Islamist Extremists, claiming they will take down any extremist site they see online. Following yesterday’s horrific news in Paris, France – where 12 people were murdered because a satirical newspapers made a number of jokes that offended a particular group – many in the comedy world could not help but feel somewhat uneasy. Not just because of the terrible loss of life for those overseas but also because it somewhat hits home for them.
